A real short couple of observations I've made while working on my half of Project Legacy.

1) That both my brother's project and mine are similar in their purpose. Both of us are trying to tell an epic story fueled by our imaginations, with references to people and events that changed our own lives placed within the projects as part of the story. The only difference is that he's doing it in a video game and I'm doing it in what I hope to be a manga.

2) That Jacob, immortal twin to Dimitri, a character in my story, bears a striking resemblance to one Relaf, a multiple millenia old redeemed demon in Clay's game. Funny how we both have our idea of what a 'dark hero' type supporting character should look like.

and unrelated to the project, but something I thought about while working on the character profile inspired by her...
3) That only one of my friends even knows of the woman whom I consider the one that got away. She was wonderful, beautiful, perfect in many ways, and everything I wanted. Suz-Anne's dishonesty cost me that relationship, whether she knows it or not. I wonder if this entire time I have harbored any unrealized anger towards her because of that...
Thing is, were my feelings for this woman genuine, or residuals of the love that I wasn't physically feeling from Suz-Anne while she was away? I can't really know, but, at the same time, due to that loss, I met an amazing person who became a lover and a friend for almost 5 years. After all, if I'd have been with my Mexsa, I'd never have met that wonderful Kitten of mine...

Man, but she was beautiful.
